2 Huatulco, Mexico

Sat 9 November 2013
This port is our first overnight – we’re not sure why as there is not much to see from here.  But it is a nice little port and maybe the crew just needed some shore leave.
When you get off the ship there is a small port town that sells stuff, serves food & drink with free wireless and a nice beach.  Not as fancy as Cozumel but more laid back.  Yesterday we wandered thru the shops and found a restaurant with wifi – B had a soda and I had squid & a lemonade: which today I may be regretting as my tummy is upset.  B took off today for the other town which is 20 minutes away by taxi.  I am just hanging out on board ship, writing this blog & relaxing.
I am still a bit ahead in the casino and we have finally found some poker players for a $1-$2 cash game – the unusual thing is there are more women players than men!  B has only played slots and is a little behind, but he is feeding his Where’s George bills, so he doesn’t mind too much…lol
The overcast weather has finally left us and it is HOT!  Even hotter than Texas or Las Vegas, as it is soooo humid!  It just saps the energy right out – I have had to force myself to walk my mile…
Tomorrow is another Mexico stop so we will explore a bit but not buy much.
Hope all is well with ya’ll - Adios
